Alvvays is due to release its second full-length, Antisocialites, this September. The album is the much-anticipated follow-up to their critically acclaimed debut album which received accolades from Pitchfork, NPR, Rolling Stone and more. Across its 10 tracks and 33 minutes the Toronto-based group dive back into the deep-end of reckless romance and altered dates. Ice cream truck jangle collides with prismatic noise pop while Molly Rankin's wit is refracted through crystalline surf counterpoint. Through thoughtful consideration in basement and abroad, Alvvays has renewed its Scot-pop vows with a powerful new collection of manic emotional collage. The band will be embarking this summer on an extensive world tour. Antisocialites is out September 8th on Polyvinyl Records (USA), Transgressive Records (UK/EU), Royal Mountain Records (Canada), Inertia Records (Australia) and P-Vine Records (Japan).

"Little Shop of Horrors": The Campy Sci-Fi Rock MusicalIt's everyone's favorite boy-meets-girl, plant-eats-world love story, and it's coming to the stage of The Firehouse Theatre in Farmers Branch. "Little Shop of Horrors" takes you on a musical journey through the streets of Skid Row, to a struggling flower shop where a bloodthirsty plant from another world eagerly awaits its next victim. Full of delightfully demented humor, this long-running off-Broadway musical comedy is based on Roger Corman's B-movie and was later turned into a Broadway show and an Academy Award-nominated film starring Rick Moranis and Steve Martin. Now you can enjoy a night of bloody good fun at this show with a pop/rock score by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman, featuring songs like "Skid Row," "Somewhere That's Green," "Feed Me" and "Suddenly, Seymour." You'll eat up this fun musical ... if it doesn't devour you first.

Elder is the definition of a work in progress, as the group continues to meld the familiar sounds of Sleep's colossal riffage with their ever-evolving vision of soaring melodies and sonic soundscapes. Listeners will find themselves locked into the trio's lengthy epics, which toe the line between the chasms of classic stoner metal and mindblowing psychedelia. Since the release of 2010?s Dead Roots Stirring, their second full-length record for MeteorCity Records, Elder has continued to push their sound in more dynamic and inspiring directions, while still holding true to their original methodology: all heavy, no filler. Born from the ashes of Rochester's best (Velvet Elvis / Abandoned Buildings Club). They invade your ears with heavy driving riffs and a familiar groove. Psychedelic, blues and stoner overtones combine with thunderous bass and drums, reminiscent of heavy 70?s rock. A wall of sound, a trio of soaring vocals, and an unrelenting pace merge to form their own musical styling. King Buffalo is committed to being a unique and progressive recording artist, while performing live with an unapologetic heavy groove. Currently they are awaiting the release of their 12? split with Sweden's Le Betre on STB Records, which is due winter 2014/2015. They have also been asked to record "House Burning Down" as part of a Jimi Hendrix Electric Ladyland Compilation on Magnetic Eye Records. This will feature some amazing bands, including Earthless, Mothership, Wo Fat, The Budos Band, All Them Witches, Elder and many more. Artwork will done by David Paul Seymour. More information on this release can be found here http://tinyurl.com/led4tho. King Buffalo's full length debut has been heavily anticipated, since the release of their 3 song demo from November of 2013. They are currently in the writing process of all brand new material. They plan to release it in early 2015.

Brother Schemes to Murder His Twin in "Corpse!"Called a "brilliant comedy thriller" by the "New York Post", the frightfully funny British whodunit "Corpse!" by Gerald Moon follows twin brothers (played by the same actor) who carry sibling rivalry to the extreme. One, an egocentric out-of-work actor, is plotting to kill his wealthy brother so he can assume his identity -- and ownership of his vast fortune. The twists that result as his diabolical plot goes awry prove that, as with most foolproof plans, things seldom go as they should and people are not always who they seem to be. Don't miss "Corpse!" when it comes to ONSTAGE in Bedford.

???Some people are impressionists. These guys leave an impression.??? Says Bill Miller, owner of JohnnyCash.com, about Cash???d Out (Douglas Benson vocals, George Bernardo drums, and Stephen Rey bass), a San Diego based band, that channels Johnny Cash in about as close a manner to the real thing as it gets. After eleven years, hundreds of thousands of miles on the road and many more fans, those fans continually tell the group how grateful they are that Cash???d Out carries the torch of the Johnny Cash Show. Besides music critics anointing Cash???d Out the ???next best thing to Johnny Cash??? the highlights have been many: W.S. Holland, Cash???s longtime drummer, has sat in with Cash???d Out; front man, Douglas Benson, has played Johnny???s cherry sunburst Guild guitar (courtesy of Mr.Miller); ???Cindy Cash came to a show and was moved to give me a glass locket that was her father???s,??? explains Benson; and longtime Cash manager Lou Robin has also been to several Cash???d Out shows, and claimed that if he closed it eyes it was like ???going back in time.??? The band???s live shows respectfully reference the late, great Man in Black's Sun Records and early Columbia era sound, combined with the energy of the classic multi-platinum live recordings from Folsom Prison and San Quentin. The group's genuine love (and authentic recreation) of Johnny Cash???s music and its universal appeal fans of all ages and of virtually all musical genres makes each Cash???d Out show a must-see event. Or as Miller says, ???Some people are impressionists. These guys leave an impression.???
